Master planning

We work closely with you to develop an overall vision for your landscape.  The vision is in the form of a masterplan of the property as it would appear at maturity.  Elements on the plan may include driveways, walkways, pools, decks, planting beds and any other features that may one day be part of the property.  We can plan for the design to be installed in phases or to be implemented at one time.  Either way, the property will have the look and feel that it was always meant to have.

Construction Documentation

Construction Drawings provide the contractor and the subcontractors with enough detail to accurately bid and/or build the intended landscape.  Depending on the project, the construction drawing set may consist of Demolition Plans, Tree Preservation Plans, Layout Plans, Grading and Drainage Plans, Construction Details (sections and elevations), Lighting Plans, & Planting Plans.

· Facilitatates accurate bids from contractors.

· Prevents future problems due to improper site preparation.

· Minimizes construction mistakes & oversights.

· Provides critical information to the contractor about material types and quantities.

· Creates better coordination between subcontractors.

 

Construction Admin / Observation

Due to the increasing number of professions involved with the installation of a landscape, we assist the homeowner during  the construction phase of the project.  Construction Administration services may include: Bid Coordination; Plant selection; Shop drawing review for custom fabrications (stone, metal, wood, etc.); and general Construction Observation. By spending time on the construction site, we help determine if the construction is following the design intent.
